Put that in your pipe and smoke it

Today, I was shopping when I overheard a woman telling an employee that she was buying an iPad for her 5-year-old son. Annoyed, I turned around and ranted about how he should have more age appropriate toys. Then she explained that her son is autistic and will be using the iPad to communicate. FML

Respect strangers, and mind your own business. Problem solved.

Why don't you do what other people do and bitch about it later on when that person isn't around ? Ydi

Just dont mind others, and keep your nose out of their shit..

And the Biggest Douché award goes to the busy body with no life!

Yes my comment may come off as harsh but as a father of two children in the autistic spectrum I know the importance of early detection and education make in a child's development. Their mom is protective and would have probably started smacking you around. If I wasn't next to them she would have called me over to continue. Parents of special needs kids are rightfully protective against ignorance. Remember "better to be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt".

The E in douche does not have a mark over it, because it is silent. Douche is not touché with a D instead of a T.

how is that a problem at all and any of your business for that matter? if the kid is autistic or not. Children are a lot smarter than what we give them credit for and this is their generation. If you keep on giving them what you believe are "age-appropriate" toys, don't expect them to be geniuses, like the rest of the kids who's parents left them to discover, explore and learn!

Jackass!!!! Mind your damn business

Mind your own business, it's not like she asked you to pay for it. She shouldn't even explained her reason for buying it, I know I wouldn't of, I would have ignored you!

Don't judge, you never know what the circumstances are for the other person and you end up putting your foot in your mouth like you did. I hope you at least apologized, and will learn for future encounters!

YDI for being a busybody. Why was it your business?

If she didn't tap on your shoulder to tell you about her purchase idea or announce it to the store, then it is none of your damn business. Like you said, you OVERHEARD, which means that your thoughts, views, rants, etc. are irrelevant and not needed. Next time shut the hell up. It doesn't matter if she was buying a car for her 2 year old, it's none of your ******* business.
