Put that in your pipe and smoke it

Today, I was shopping when I overheard a woman telling an employee that she was buying an iPad for her 5-year-old son. Annoyed, I turned around and ranted about how he should have more age appropriate toys. Then she explained that her son is autistic and will be using the iPad to communicate. FML

Respect strangers, and mind your own business. Problem solved.

You deserve it for being a judgemental fuckstick.

Maybe next time you'll stay out of other people's conversations.

I can see where your opinion comes from and I would tend to agree (but then again, you got owned about the autism part). But for Christ's sake, keep that shit to yourself or to people you know, outside earshot of anyone whom it concerns. Otherwise that makes you a huge douchenozzle. And nobody likes a douchenozzle.

There's a very fitting saying here, that I'm sure we've all heard: If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. While I understand why the OP might have thought that, in this day and age, it was still a comment best kept to oneself.

Even if the iPad wasn't for an autistic child, why is any of your business who she is giving an iPad to? My guess is that you are jealous that you can't buy an iPad for yourself so you fly into a rage whenever you hear about someone younger than you getting one.

Wether or not you're annoyed with kids having the latest technology, you should keep it to yourself. I bet if you were a kid you would want all that.

How about you mind your own business and raise your own children if you have any, and let her raise hers? What gives you the right to lecture her just because you don't like how she chooses to spend her money? And some 5 year olds are very advanced anyway. I wouldn't personally by my 5 year old one but I would "rant" to some stranger in a store because they choose to. Bully.

The soundtrack for this FML is "Mind Your Own Business" by Hank Williams.
