Remember them?

Today, I realized that I will never be able to buy the car I've wanted since middle school. The car? A greyish-silver Volvo, which is the make and color of car Kurt Cobain drove. The reason? I've been informed that it's also the make and color of the car that Edward Cullen drives in Twilight. FML

if you really want to be scared by some of the "TwiHards" go to mylifeistwilight.com

That site is scary. It is sad how obsessive some people can be. BTW I only know about that site because of the obsessed "Twihards" at my school.

haha I'm not a like die hard twilight fan but I liked the books and I think guys should take some tips from edward Cullen. I mean he has probably at least ten million girls who would marry him where all of you complainers and hater of him don't have nearly that many girls falling all over you. and again I didn't think it was he best book ever but people need to stop whining.

Um... you say you wanted a Volvo... 'nuff said.

Uhm, that's a petty reason to not get the car that you've wanted for the longest time. If you want the car; get the car.

God you're so stupid. It's a car. Who cares if edward drove it? You're saying shit about twilight, when in reality it's one of the best love stories ever made. next to romeo and juliet. It's not wrong that he's with her, because he's technically 17. and if you read on, she becomes a vampire too, so he's with someone who will NEVER age. Grow up. Stop saying shit about a good book, and movie.

Please don't compare twilight to Romeo and Juliet... Twilight is not a genius work of literature. It's poorly written and doesn't have any originality to it. I don't care if you like or enjoy the books, but don't compare Twilight to a story that will always be remembered. Twilight is going to die out really soon.

Poorly-written book is poorly-written. Seriously, Twilight should not even be considered in the same category as Romeo and Juliet. Meyer's comparison with her characters and other notable works of fiction are also bullshit. Please stop comparing this awful waste of paper to other works of art.

**** twilight for ruining livessss!

You guys are completely pathetic...... You're worse then the DIE HARD fans.. At least they dont bash on your stupid shit. You don't like it? we dont give a ****.

Oh, and girls don't think "i'm going to marry edward" they're saying edward is the type of guy they'd love to have. How bout you pick up one of the books and see everything edward does for bella. Maybe a guy should learn from that. Bella is his EVERYTHING.. Just like any girl should be to the guy who "loves" her. Do you think edward would cheat? No. Would any other **** up? Yes. Grow up and see the point of this love story.

Oh yes.......sure.........because it's ENTIRELY normal for your significant other to be the centre of your whole existence. There's a healthy relationship!!! It's love, not obsession......not at all...... What are you, 12? Try having a relationship where you are your boyfriend's center of attention and see how that feels. I can promise you'll be running as far away from him as you possibly can after a couple of months

I'm not saying be "center of attention" Edward protects her. What you don't get is that it's a deep love. they both want to be around each other a lot. Read on, when you're a vampire, you're soulmate is who you always want to be with. It's a love story. shit.

-whistles and stares at feet- Erm... Shall we call truce? I don't like Twilight, but I'm not saying that it's an unhealthy obsession or a ****** up romance... and everyone is entitled to his/her opinion. Some people may not like being in the center of a guy's attention, and some might. It really depends on the person. And yes, SM screwed up vampires' reputation by making them sparkle. But look at it this way - your little brother/sister won't be as afraid of 'monsters under his/her bed/closet' anymore. (And that is IF they accidentally saw a vampire gorging on a human girl on TV or whatever by accident) All you gotta do is show them the sparkly vampire bit :D But it's pointless arguing with each other since we all know that the Twitards and the Antwi will never agree with each other. It's practically hopeless to try and get them to accept each others decisions, so why don't we just agree to disagree? :) And OP - get the damn car. Give the people who squeal 'OOOH YOU MUST BE SUCH A TWIHARD!!!' the finger/bird/etc and walk off proud that you have sufficiently shocked them enough to get away.

If anyone can ID that car in that context, you need to refer them. obviously they need a new obsession.

OP You are foolish, get what you want to buy. Are you gonna let a book whose demographic is 13 year old girls dictate your buying habits? Grow some stones.

@JManHobbs not all of us are demographic, thanks. i for one (a thirteen year old girl) cannot stand twilight. man must you criticize everyone?

I agree with you, I really don't like Twilight, and I'm 13.

To you two thirteen year olds: The book was WRITTEN for girls in their early teens. Just because you don't like Twilight, doesn't mean that you aren't part of the group it was targeted at. It doesn't work like that.

Unless it's a large conicidence, I would guess that the reason it's featured in Twilight is because of it's morbid association to Kurt Cobain. It's just as bad - if not worse - to want to buy a car based on a real person than a fictional one (especialy one who's dead).
