Remember them?

Today, I realized that I will never be able to buy the car I've wanted since middle school. The car? A greyish-silver Volvo, which is the make and color of car Kurt Cobain drove. The reason? I've been informed that it's also the make and color of the car that Edward Cullen drives in Twilight. FML

am not sure why the people above hate twilight that much as for me is concerned movie was good and worth watching... and regarding this FML... why do you want to get into as to who drove it? If u love it then get it! as simple as that...

Notice she used the word "be able". She obviously isn't chosing to not buy it.

I'm not sure what Twilight is exactly, but it sounds just like another vampire movie.

Twilight is a TEEN drama/romance kind of book. i'm sure in NO WAY did Meyer mean the next Hemmingway. Sure, Edward is a vampire who is stuck being 17 forever, falls in love with a human, but refuses to make her a vampire, even though that's what she really wants, because he believes he is living in an eternal hell. Yes, he does sparkle in the sunlight. But if you think about it, someone reading the book, where you're pretty much sitting there wishing that bella and edward would be together forever, would not want to read about him bursting into flames when he goes into the sunlight. Therefor, Meyer decided to make him sparkle. and for everybody complaining that Twilight was crap, I will admit it is not the greatest piece of literature i've ever read, but it wasn't meant to be. Meyer was not trying to be the next shakespear. She was just trying to tell a teenage love story. In no way would anyone admit that it is the best book they've ever read based ONLY on literary standards. (and if they do, then they really need to read more) BUT, it is a good book because it keeps your interest, if you're into that "teenage love/drama" stuff. Sorry about my rant, but people on this site are being really immature.

I totally agree with 153! Thank u! I completely agree with u! Every1 is spazzing out I bet half of them haven't even read the books and r just saying this stuff because of it's popularity. Well everyone grow up!

edward drives a volvo c30 a very recent volvo, thats very different from their other models. with the exception of the 1800es model in the 60s. but anyways volvo makes lots of different models. not every silver volvo looks like edward cullen.

I've always wanted to drive a Volvo... my family have always driven Volvo's, and when I turned 17 I got one too. THEN Twilight became popular, and I have to deal with a whole lot of people going "ooooooohhhhhhh a Volvo like Edwaaaaarrrrddd's you must be such a huge fan!!" Um, if I had it my way that book (and subsequent series and franchise) never would have existed. At least I'm a girl, so I don't have it as tough as one of my friends (a boy) who also drives a Volvo. It's not too bad though. Sure, I may have to occasionally restrain myself from punching someone in the face, but other than that I love my Volvo :D

YDI for not wanting to buy it because some gay ass actor uses it in a movie...if Kurt Cobain is an idol of yours as he is mine then go out and buy the damn car, same color year make and model, **** Edward Cullen and this Twilight bullshit going on....LONG LIVE ROCK AND ROLL!!!

While I may not like twilight or any of the characters, I do feel the need to stand up for at least the actor who portrayed Edward in the movies since he also played Cederic Diggory in Harry Potter. The actor absolutely hated having to play the "vampire" and only took the part as a chance to possibly further his career. Saying the actor is gay is like saying Kurt Cobain sucked; it's a huge lie and incredibly rude to the person you're talking about.
