Today, I realized that I will never be able to buy the car I've wanted since middle school. The car? A greyish-silver Volvo, which is the make and color of car Kurt Cobain drove. The reason? I've been informed that it's also the make and color of the car that Edward Cullen drives in Twilight. FML

Today, my parents said that they bought me a car. I had been begging for one for a year and they always said that I would have to pay for it myself. I got really excited and went to the garage to see my new ride. It was a Hot Wheels car with a note saying, "Save your money". FML

Today, my car broke down. Yesterday, my husband mentioned he found my dream car for sale, but I'd insisted my car had a lot of miles left and we should save money. They sold my dream car this morning. Now I'm carless. FML

Today, I went to a dealership for a new car. We were halfway through paperwork when the manager informed me I wouldn’t be buying the S Class, but I would be buying a Nissan Micra. Turns out my wife fell asleep in the car, allowing our son to escape and draw smiley faces on the Nissan with a rock. FML

Who cares if it's the car he drove?!?! He's a fictional character, it's a car and it's your real life choice. What's sad is that you're so ready to give up on your "dream car" just because some character out of a book you don't happen to like drives it. Have some cheese with your whine, go buy a car, and move on with life. But this time, pick a car because YOU like it, not because some pretend famous person likes it and you want to be just like them.

man I wish Edward would of blown his brains out instead of Cobain. you went too soon Cobain. I bet the real reason he did it was because he woke up one morning and realized he was with courtny love. and I wouldn't blame him for doing that.

Because men never buy cars just because they were driven by James Bond, etc. I agree with the OP, I would never buy a car that was driven by Mr. Fancypants in Twilight. Other people would probably assume I bought it because he has it. Then I would have to kill myself.

Everyone here who has complained about Twilight (and agrees with the original poster) is such a hypocrite. Buying a car because its like the one Kurt Cobain had is exactly the same as buying a car because Edward Cullen had it. Except worse, how trashy can you get? It took no talent to write Twilight and it takes no talent to play like Kurt Cobain. They're even.
