i'm also confused as to why he would call you "just to chat". are you sure he's a male? typically men don't call people "just to chat". in my experience, that's more of a female thing. however, it's more like FHL because he called and you started rambling on about your sexual escapades in front of his boss and coworkers. he clearly should've let you know that you were on speakerphone.

Most people don't use speakerphone that often, so it's kind of counter-intuitive to ask "hey do you have me on speaker, by chance?" Not to mention it'd make you sound weird if you started every phone conversation that way.

Exactly: not only does he have a supercharged woman at home, but she's apparently keeping "herself occupied" to relieve the pressure of not having him around. THAT's flattering. He totally set this up, unless some ninja turned on the speakerphone without the husband noticing.
