Today, while I was waiting to pull out of a parking space, my boyfriend decided it would be funny to put the car into reverse instead of drive while I was waiting for traffic to clear. I don't think the people who own the car behind me were laughing. Nor is my now ex-boyfriend. FML

She can't make him pay for any damages, there is no possible way to prove he put it in reverse, he could say she blamed him for her mistake. It sucks but it's what would happen probally.

16 - Don't EVER **** with someone who's driving a vehicle. Maybe you think it's funny, but people get killed this way. OP was lucky it was only a car she hit; what if her bf had pulled that stupid prank while a small child was behind them? Not even close to cool.

I agree with #40 and #72. OP probably has to pay for any damages to her car and what if it was way more serious and someone seriously got hurt? He was an idiot and your comment makes me want to punch you. I'm sure you wouldn't think it was fun if it happened to you, would you? 91 - Are you dumb?... He endangered her life with that prank! Why the HELL would you stick around to have it happen again? What of next time he changes it and she runs someone over? Or they flip, or the car crashes into something worse and one or both of them die? Yeah I'd LOVE to stick around for that possibility. That's true love for you right there, isn't it?

@78 Never before in my life have I wanted to change my icon to SMT's Mara, and I am going to resist that urge on the grounds that the admins will ban me so hard I get a black eye. Yeah, I'm immature. But I'm mature where it counts - for example, traffic safety.

If you have a car that the shifter is between the seats and not on the steering wheel it would be really easy for the passenger to up the car into reverse while the drive is intently watching traffic and waiting for a chance to get out.

It's whatever the other people think. They make up their own reason to make sure the person they don't like will lose. Just like how Zimmerman can chase down an unarmed child, shoot him after fighting on a porch, and then claim it was self-defense. I gotta start buying more Skittles; those things are lethal, apparently.
