Today, a girl was tailgating me, even though I was going at speed limit. Annoyed, I drove 10 mph under the speed limit, and every time she honked, I went 5 mph slower. Too bad she got the last laugh… I was pulled over for "reckless driving." FML

Today, I was tailgated on the highway. There was a car in the lane next to me, and my tailgater was WAY too close to risk slowing down, so I sped up in order to switch lanes, which bumped me over the speed limit. That's when my tailgater turned on the flashing lights. FML

Today, my neighbor yelled at me for driving recklessly. I was going 35 mph, and she was stopped in the middle of a road around a blind curve. My "reckless driving" was slamming on the brakes so I wouldn't hit her. FML

Tailgate party

Today, while driving home, some idiot kept tailgating me, so I slowed down, hoping he'd overtake me. He didn't, so I pulled to the side of the road. He did the same, in front of me. He kept toying with me until I crashed into another car trying to speed away from him. FML

Today, a girl seemed to be tailgating me while I was driving home. I ended up letting her past as I didn’t like it, so I pulled into the next petrol station. She did too, so I thought I’d ask her why she was tailgating me. She asked what I was going to do about it, before kneeing me in the balls. FML

Today, some aggressive asshole was tailgating me on my way home, bumping into me twice. I got scared and kicked my car into high gear and got out of there. Seconds later, a traffic cop came out of nowhere and pulled me over for speeding. FML

Today, I was tailgated by a car with his high beams on for an hour. Any time I changed my speed or lane, he would do the same. I finally managed to get away from him because a cop pulled me over and gave me a speeding ticket. FML

Today, a cop almost rear-ended my car, slammed on the gas with no warning, swerved around me, flipped me the bird, then cut me off and then drove a full ten miles under the speed limit. When I changed lanes to overtake him, he pulled me over for road rage. FML

Today, the car in front of me was going slow and I flashed my lights and honked. I floored it and passed the car, flipping off the driver. Just as I went around the next corner I got pulled over by a motorcycle cop. A few seconds later, the guy I flipped off drove by honked and waved. FML

Today, after driving a few hours late at night I decided to entertain the car tailgating me by not letting him pass. After doing this for 3miles, reaching 93MPH, I decided to let the car pass me. When I switched lanes, the car tailgating me light up in red and blue. It was a cop. FML

Road rage

Today, I had a “Fuck you” shouting match with a guy who'd tailgated me in the slow lane through an active school zone. I flipped him off when he finally passed, which admittedly wasn’t my best move. He ended up beside me, windows down, where we verbally sparred like teenagers in a dick swinging contest. Regrettably. FML

YDI because some people are driving because they have places to be, people to meet, and work to do. They should take away your license and fine you for behaving so immaturely. Honestly, people who drive below the speed limit are worse than people who speed. If you really aren't in that much of a hurry, just walk: save the rest of us the trouble of dealing with you out on the road, get some exercise, and save the environment all at the same time.

When somebody is tailgating you, you should never slow down. That will only piss them off and cause unnecessary road rage. If you don't want to drive faster the best thing to do would be to pull over and let them pass you.

YDI YDI YDI!! That is reckless driving! She could've been in a hurry, why couldn't you just let her pass you out? Idiot. Sometimes it's necessary to go over the speed limit, you don't know what her predicament was. Letting her drive fast and pass you out is far less dangerous than driving deliveratly slow when you knew she was in a hurry.

Why should I care what the other persons prediciment is? fact of the matter is, If Im doing the speed limit, I dont have a damn thing to be worried about. If it was an emergrency, an ambulance or a police officer would be the other person's ride. Again, why should I have to pull over and inconvenience myself just so some ass hole who should have left earlier than they did wants me to and is having a hissy fit?? Really? Sometimes its necessary to go over the speed limit?? So your arguing that going below the speed limit is MORE reckless than going over it? That makes any sense. If she was in such a damn hurry she shoulf have left sooner. Fact is, the OP states she was going the speed limit and didnt slow til she was being tailgated. Why can't anybody read?? she Slowed BECAUSE of the tailgateing.
