You could have lawfully resisted arrest. Read the law regarding lawfully resisting unlawful arrest/detaining from officers. I've been surrounded by 10 corrupt cops telling me they would (unlawfully) take me to jail. By the end of it they knew they couldn't take me to jail lawfully so they left me alone and I am writing a letter to the department of justice to have them reprimanded for their unlawful actions.
