wow...I'm speechless. yet I still commented just to say so. that's annoying ;)
I think I would of puked hahah that's naaaasssssssttttttyyyyy I just dont see why it's necessary for you to add that she was obese it would still be disgusting if she was skinny.
It would actually be much less disgusting if she was skinny. stop trying to be PC u bastards
That is super disgusting. Not sure I would have said something though. You know, for fear of being eaten har har. Perhaps the OP mentions the fact that she was an obese woman to illustrate that she was clearly sitting very near to the OP on account of taking up some extra space. It may be just as gross coming from an "average" sized person, but perhaps not as likely since there would probably have been some space for the scarf to fall other than on the OP's lap.
I would of gotten up & moved if I saw her blowing her nose in her scarf. Nothing good could happen after witnessing that. hehe sucks for you though, I know how gross it could be!
Would have*... Why don't people understand this?!
Maybe because when it's said it often sounds like 'would of', especially when abbreviated...
45 - If you're saying it right, the abbreviated form should not sound like "would of". It should sound as it appears: "would've". "ve"=/="of"
Linguistically, they are almost exactly the same sound.
"almost exactly the same". I beg to differ. When I speak (never mind when I write), I don't say "would of" - it sounds different and is longer than "would've". Try it. "Would of" are two distinctive words, and as such, there's a definite pause between them. "Would've" is one word and is said as such. Also, the shape your mouth makes is very different, therefore the sound must be different. When saying the "of" part, you make an "O" with your mouth. When saying the "'ve" part, your lips are barely parted and sort of moving into a half-smile.
So. The original poster wouldn't have minded if an anorexic person had laid her boogery scarf on her skirt? That's the only reason I could see mentioning the disgusting woman's size.
Given the choice most people will not sit so squashed up to a stranger that their scarf falls on the other person's lap. Since bus seats are a limited space if the woman was slimmer she could have sat further away and the scarf would not have landed on OP... It is not implying that fat people are more disgusting
pink eye vengeance ftw
Omg that's gross. That is beyond unhygienic and the fact that she is large makes it that much worse. Improper weight leads to poor health in general, not to mention they usually smell because they can't reach in between all the folds to wash. No way could I have sat there silently while she blew her nose into her scarf!
...Improper weight? Really? 5 women, standing at 5', 5'2", 5'3.5", 5'7" and 5'9", all with a weight of 130 pounds each, may not, and most likely will not all be at their ideal weight. Some will be borderline overweight, depending on their body type; some will be pretty underweight also due to their body type.
wtf is ur point 5tf? lol grow up, u cant live in la la land forever. there are lots of fat ppl and they are Gross, there is no point denying this obvious irrefutable fact. to do so is delusional.
My points were, in order: 1. There's no such thing as an "improper weight". What's healthy for one person may not be for another, so it was not correctly phrased. 2. Look up BMI (body mass index) and waist-hip ratio. These are your two well-known and commonly used health indicators. 3. Yes, there is a limit to everyone's weight; if they cross this limit, they are overweight. If they greatly surpass this limit, they are obese. Why am I mentioning this? Because everyone's "limit" is DIFFERENT. 4. Fat people do exist, though most of you consider at size 6 "fat". You don't know the true meaning of fat/overweight. 5. There is such a thing as "skinny fat". This wasn't mentioned in my previous post, but I thought I'd throw that out there. 6. Finally, you're telling me to grow up because I've shared some knowledge? Please look up the definition of "irony". Anything else?
