Slipping up

Today, I was teaching a class when a student pointed out that I'd used the wrong "your/you're" while writing on the board. FML

Today, I got back the essay I wrote about how my country's education system is fucked. At one point, I made a spelling mistake. My teacher wrote a note about it, basically calling me illiterate, and telling me to pay attention in school instead of whining about it. She misspelled "school". FML

On the PLUS side, at least they noticed. No one in my graduating class would have. You're teaching a smarter group than I was in =)

my math teacher is so stupid that usually when she tells someone something is correct i have to redo it to make sure that the teacher did it correct because as i am wrong sometimes, she is usually wrong 90% of the time. also your not the only teacher who made a simple spelling mistake. my english teacher makes mistakes all the time, and she is a very smart person. but she gives way to much work :(

I wish people would get their commas and apostrophes straight.

Awww, you remind me of every English teacher whose spelling I've corrected throughout the years. The pathetic sense of self-satisfaction it gave me almost makes me miss school... On a related subject, I once had an English teacher ask me if there was a hyphen in "self-confidence." Mind you, I'd never had this teacher before for a class, so I have no idea how he knew to ask me.

Already an FML, except it was about a substitute teacher. Dirty thief.

so? in highschool (2 years ago) i used to correct my teachers all the time just cuz YOU'RE a teacher doesnt mean YOU'RE all-knowing it doesnt make you a bad teacher
