As to why people hate smokers...I second-hand smoked 4 packs a day for 15 years. I have asthma, can't do aerobic exercise for more than 15 minutes without nearly passing out from being unable to breathe, and have a higher risk for lung cancer thanks to it. So no, it doesn't just affect the one person. And to 101, yes, it's hard to quit. Maybe you should have considered that before you started in the first place. And either way, being hard doesn't make it impossible. Grow up and stop whining about how haaard life is and just deal with it.

#102, As I mentioned before, I'm not addicted, so this doesn't go for me. But there are a lot of people out there who ARE physically addicted to nicotine. It is also partially your fault for subjecting yourself to that much secondhand smoke rountinely for 15 years. If it's at a job, you complain to your boss. People can't smoke in public places anyway. You tell me not to complain about how hard life is, yet you are clearly stating your complaints for people smoking. I do not want to stop smoking as of now, so life isn't hard for me. The only one who seems to be having a hard life is you, dickweed. How about YOU "just deal with it."

By smoking people are unjustly inflicting cancerous second hand and third hand smoke on often unwilling people. In Canada our taxes pay for the treatment of their self inflicted cancer instead of funding schools or other useful things. They are also funding an industry that will use their money to advertise to youth and get them hooked at a young age, thus repeating the cycle of stupidity. On top of that stupid smokers like this kid are the people who contribute to the billions of butts littered each year making cigarette butts the worlds most littered item. As you can see there are plenty of reasons people hate smokers. Luckily stupider people tend to be the ones who smoke then die younger of smoking related diseases so at the very least it weens the population of the stupid gene.

#105 sadly smoking does not weed out the stupid genes, as it doesn't kill smokers quickly enough to stop them reproducing. If only...

first of all, smoking is bad for you and each cigarrette shortens your life by one minute.. that really adds up. secondly, if you're going to do something stupid and harmful to yourself, make sure that your poor choices don't negatively impact someone else
