If he was out of her league.... What the hell makes her think she wasn't beneath him? Unless he was "slumming". Your gf is a tad too confident about herself... Revenge is a dish best served cold!
You can't just let her talk to you like that. No, I am not saying hit her or scream at her, but you can't settle for someone like that... She will never change if she was able to say something so coldly like that.
..well ain't she a lovely one.
I think this is your cue to dump her.
Sounds like you're in a league of your own :)
You should have said "That reminds me, I'm out of your league, see ya." and go find yourself someone who will respect you. :)
Why would she even mention that?
Normally I'm not a huge advocate for the "leave 'em!" crew, but in this case, OP, I think you should rethink your decision to be with her. She clearly has no respect for you, and if the only reason why she didn't leave you for another man is because "he's out of my league," then there's nothing stopping her from going when she feel she has a shot with another guy. She doesn't have any romantic feelings for you, anything to you that compels her to stay with you. You're a distraction, someone to pass the time with but not someone to actually appreciate. You deserve better, my friend.
