Sorry Mr Whiskers

Today, my overly-attached 14-year-old cat wanted attention while I was in a heated Skype argument with my girlfriend. Worked up from the fight, I raised my voice and said, "Not now, go away!" He ran to his little bed, had a heart attack and died. I was a complete dick to my cat in his last moments. FML

This is probably the most awful FML I've ever read. I'm sorry about your cat, OP :(

This was so sad, I'm crying in class. :(

I'm so sorry for you. But just remember, your cat did know you loved it. Everyone pays so much attention to the final moment, but that last moment can't override a whole lifetime of love you gave your cat. Hang in there. :(

As many have said this is the saddest FML ever. It made me cry hard But I'm sure your cat was coming to say Good-bye to you in the first place. And I'm positive he died loving you just the same as he lived loving you. Mourning is hard enough to get through. Please don't make it any harder on yourself. Your kitty's watching. And he wouldn't like that either.

I understand what you are going through. I had to get my dog put down. She was old, in serious pain. She was excited to be driving with me all the way to the vet, me knowing she was going to die :-(

You sort of deserve that one. I feel sorry for your cat more than I do for you. Dick. oh and other users, I know your are going to down vote the shit out of this. go ahead.

What is this emotion I'm feeling? Is it, sadness? For another person? I'm sorry, OP. I'm never getting mad at my cat again.

I'm so very sorry OP :( don't beat yourself up over this. He lived a long and happy life I'm sure. It'll get easier, I promise. My 14 year old cat passed away a year ago this Tuesday. I still miss him like crazy but I just think about all the happiness he brought me and it helps the pain of losing him go away a little at a time. You'll be okay.

It's not your fault, he was at his end. And I am sure you have plenty more loving moments with your cat than one's like that. Focus on those memories not this accident! xxxx

okay that seriously just broke my heart.

I am so sorry op, I would feel terrible. If that happened to my dog I would def lose it
