Today, after sex, my boyfriend and I lay in bed for a couple of hours just chatting. This would have been lovely. However, his topic of choice for post-coital pillow talk was his theory about how Chewbacca is secretly the leader of the Rebel Alliance. It actually made sense. FML

What is this theory??? I really want to know!!!

What do you mean, "FML???" More like total win!!! My boyfriend is a geek too and I love how we have so much fun talking about complete nonsense. Last week we had a debate on whether or not Pikachu could defeat He-Man or GI Joe in battle. We stayed up until 2am talking about it just because we were having so much fun.

Maybe He man but definitely not GI Joe

I actually took the position that Pikachu could electrocute GI Joe before he could get in range to shoot him. And don't forget Pikachu's "Agility" ability, which boosts his speed. Of course, this is all relative based on the stats of the individual pikachu. Really, a well trained raichu would would do much better than a pikachu against any foe, whether he be He-Man or GI Joe.

I'm kinda confused on how this is like.. A FML?

Sounds like something me and my boyfriend would talk about this is totally a FTW.

Come on, man! Don't leave me hanging!

Maybe he's giving you a hint to trim the hedges.

If he was important enough to be a wookie ambassador/war leader/buddy of Yoda in the third movie, then why was he slumming with Han on Tatooine? How did he manage to accidentally run into Vader's kid? He was a rebel plant. His "smuggling" missions on Corusant, Sullust, etc. were all key worlds, and it makes way more sense that the ground team that destroyed the shield generator was an excuse to get Chewie on the surface. Seriously, if the Emperor had the "entire fleet on the far side of the Forest Moon," why would the Alliance not send fast-movers in and blow that shield generator sky-high? I was almost fired typing this.
