Today, my girlfriend missed our date, so I angrily texted her, telling her if she can't make our dates then we should break up, and generally telling her off. Five minutes later I get a picture of her sleeping in a hospital bed from her mother, saying, "Shut the fuck up, she had appendicitis." FML

Today, our dog became ill. My mom wasted no time attending her every needs and became very distressed. When I had appendicitis a few months ago, my mom told me to “sleep it off” and a friend had to take me to the hospital. She only called once to bitch at me for “doing this on purpose to make her feel bad.” FML

He assumed something and he would have been right 99.9% of the time. See, if women were responsible and on time once in awhile--and if it was rare for a woman to not show up for a date with no explanation--THEN his first consideration would have been that there may have been an emergency. He didn't flip out, people. He sent her an angry text and he was right to do so. He deserved an explanation, not to be stood up.

It's like me saying that you guys deserve to be stood up once in a while because you're always late since you're too proud to ask for directions to where you're going. Punctuality is individual. Some people are just late all the time, no matter if they're female or male.
