Chill she doesn't want to catch cooties.
hahahahaha at least she used protection(;
I completely understand not wanting you 11 year old to date or let alone kiss but that is cute. At least she still has enough innocence and smarts to think about protecting herself. But it's probably time to have the talk with her if you haven't already. She is 11 but she's already kissing boys.
Why would you not want your 11 year old to kiss?! I mean, I probably wouldn't want them fully dating buy it's completely normal to want to try kissing a guy at that age. First proper, long kisses happen a bit later but the very first kiss ever usually happens a few years earlier...I don't understand your or OP's reaction...is that weird?
@99. Yes that is weird.
By 11, or generally a few years before that, most people know that kissing people is usually associated with romance, and a lot of people don't want their kids dating or being romantic at 11, either so that they won't do things that are much worse than kissing, or else so that they can be old enough to emotionally handle drama. However, it could have just been a between friends kiss, so, who even knows
I remember in middle school there were couples. I wouldn't worry because none of them are serious relationships, and most 11 year olds are more or less innocent. Not to mention the average relationship lasted about a week anyways.
