How is this being rude? We don't know the context of his comment, we don't know if he said it in a mean or playful way. The way I see it, he is trying to make her laugh, trying to lighten up the mood a bit. Not everyting about sex is serious, it can actually be a lot of fun if one loosens up a bit. Girls have to stop being so incredibly self-centered.
