#7 is right. Did no one who commented after him read what he said? Dumbasses.
such an abuse of power. that sucks. he/she had no right or reason to search your car, etc.
you deserve it. its assholes like you that cause the normal people in this world to be late to work.. or heaven forbid there be an emergency at hand... never fails when you NEED to get somewhere assholes like you get in the way. if you cant handle the posted speed limit turn in your goddamn license
The people cussing out the original poster are dumbasses. Yeah, you should drive exactly the speed limit, no more no less? Gimme a break. I like to drive more than the speed limit (a little) but I understand there's some risk to that. Police had no cause to pull over, but as has been said, they need none, just a BS excuse because most people will take it. File a complaint, it won't do much, but the officer sounds like a jackass - and if he gets enough complaints, it'll be noticed. Driving five under the speed limit shouldn't slow down traffic unless you're on a two-lane highway or something. The idiots that slowdown traffic are the ones who a) are in such a rush (probably a lot of you complaining) they feel a need to tailgate, and when the person ahead of them breaks, they come to a screeching halt, so everyone behind them has to as well; or b) people who are completely oblivious to what drivers in other lanes are doing such that they drive the exact same speed as the people in lanes next to them, creating a moving blockade.
Guessing you're either brown or in a small town. Or you've got suspicious bumper stickers.
I'll laugh at the day you need 911 and the cops help you, arent you going to be an ass after insulting them like this. You want them there at the drop of a dime when you need help, for something stupid, but when you dont you want them to **** off and not be around. make up your mind, obey the laws or GTFO, go to some other country and see how they treat u if you beak the law.
i have been there before. the best thing to do is just not drive drunk at all.
thats why i drive five over all the time, that way i have a head start on any cop who trys to pul me over, like their gonna stop a chevelle powered by a port polished LS1, stupid crown vics

Sounds like the cop doesn't know the law very well (surprise surprise). Any evidence would have been tossed...he's a moron.
@#2: What? There are plenty of reasons to be driving under the speed limit: - it's dark - bad weather - you are unfamiliar with the territory/trying to find a place you've never been - you don't know the speed limit - you're car is impaired
