Maybe he is hoping that his messages will be an opener to conversation? Even if he's just trying to look like the perfect husband to his friends, you need to address the problems in your marriage. It won't get better on it's own! Plan an evening out, leave technology at home, and talk to him. I've been married 22 yrs., I have been through enough to know it is better to deal with problems as soon as you can. Don't let things fester!
