That really sucks on so many levels. One, your parents had enough money to buy your dad an iphone, but all they could scrape up for you is a cheapskate $10 gift card, two, that is a really horrible joke to play.
your parents are mean ppl
FYL. How douchey can you get? It's perfectly understandable for you to not get an expensive gift like an iPhone, but putting a fairly lame present in an iPhone box is just cruel. Give your parents each your oldest two pairs of underwear for christmas, but put them in bags from nice things.
get two shoeboxes, two dollar bills, and two bricks. tape one dollar to each brick, put brick in box, wrap box and hype them up for it.
lol your parents are funny! im new to fml so when u write this do u mean the fml as kind of a jokes on me remark or are u actually pissed?
lol my parents did that to my brother 10 years ago lol. oh and I love my iPhone
YDI for wanting an iPhone. if you want a good smartphone on the cheap, go sign up with Sprint and get an Evo or an epic 4g. or even a palm pre plus for Christs sakes. Verizon also has awesome phones . you should consider yourself lucky your parents spared you the wailed garden of Apple. just sayin.

That isn't funny. But a 10 dollar iTunes gift card is something. Something is better than nothing
I don't know about that guys. I'm thinking the FML is more that they acted like they were getting her the phone by giving her the box but didn't. She has obvious reason to be disappointed as opposed to them just saying no which would still disappoint but not half as much. Wouldn't you be sad if you unwrapped a present and was all "OMG you got me the new *whatever*! You shouldn't have" Then you open it's..a Itunes card. As opposed to it just being "Wow, Itunes card, sweet!"
