There goes the neighborhood

By LukeyBoy - This FML is from back in 2011 but it's good stuff - United Kingdom

Today, I was walking down the road when a twat on a quad-bike smashed into my leg. It seems that I should've been "walking on the right side of the pavement." FML

You got hit by a talking ******? It's ironic that the ****** acted like a douchebag.

I don't want to get hit by a car, it's too mainstream. Im ahead of everyone, I hit cars before they hit me. Also I secretly like to lick their windows. But that just between you and me.

Also, the term 'right side' could mean correct side rather than right-hand side.

It's those school hall monitors' fault. They drill it into the kids that there is an imaginary line dividing shared walkways. I remember having to stay to the right of the imaginary line in school and being told to get on the right side if I wasn't.

I hate people who ride bikes on pavements, cycles or quad... They think they own the path! Sue the idiot and make sure the police take this knobheads licence if they had one!

How do you not know what a quad bike is?

Pretty sure the rule is to walk on the left

Maybe I'm wrong, but by saying "the right side of the pavement" he meant "the correct side of the pavement", in a sarcastic manner? Just a thought.

I can think of some countries which like to sue a hell of a lot more than ours.

Technically bikers ride with traffic and walkers against it. While that wasn't the right thing to do, he was technically right
