Today, I was walking to the movie theatre with my boyfriend, when three guys muscled over and told us to hand over our phones. My boyfriend didn't waste any time pushing past me and running like hell, leaving me in tears and almost having a panic attack. FML

OP's boyfriend was just saving his phone. If he has a chance to get away from the guys, he should get away. There's a good chance they wouldn't've punched OP in the face, like they would her boyfriend. Sooo I believe OP was going to be fine. Let's be realistic, her boyfriend wouldn't have been able to fight off those guys. If he tried to, he would've probably ended up with a broken nose, which costs more than getting a new phone.
