Today, a guy who I've been on five dates with called me for the first time in 2 weeks. The first thing I said was, "Don't expect me to go out with you again after going AWOL on me." Then he told me his mom died. FML

So she didn't want to come off needy? Well what if the guy was thinking the same thing. Girls don't like guys who come off needy either. It seems like she never considered this guys' situation at all, only herself. Get over yourself already. This is just one more example of women being superficial bitches.

I'm currently going through a similar situation. A guy I've been on a few dates with has suddenly gone completely unresponsive. So if I hear from him in a couple weeks, at least now I'll know what NOT to say as soon as I pick up the phone.

First of all, I can guarantee you that you aren't as impressive as you think you are, purely from personality. Secondly, if he hasn't called, try calling yourself? Phones work both ways.
