Today, a guy who I've been on five dates with called me for the first time in 2 weeks. The first thing I said was, "Don't expect me to go out with you again after going AWOL on me." Then he told me his mom died. FML

Well, she doesn't call him a boyfriend, maybe he didn't think of her as a girlfriend.

omg!!!!! that happened to me too. we hadnt talked in like 2 weeks and i thought he had moved on so w/e i gave up and then he msgs me on msn and was like ya, my mom died sorry i havent been around. FML

I went on a date. I was sick. There was no spark. I was in bed near death for 3 days after. He didn't call me. I figured I was a bore b/c I was sick...but whatever, I didn't feel the spark either, so I didn't call him. A month later we got to talking. I NEVER bitched him out for not calling b/c that's way too uptight and chicks need to relax. We got along great and planned another date. I teased about him not calling, he told me "you didn't call me either." I joked that I was in bed sick for 3 days unable to speak, I had an excuse! .....2nd date was also a bore. Neither one of us has called the other. Maybe his mother died...maybe you're a bore?

I'll agree with most of the others. You're a bitch. You can't be upset at someone for not calling when you didn't call him either. Besides, two weeks is NOTHING. Enjoy loneliness.
