As someone who has "recently" (it's been 9 months) lost a parent I can kind of understand why he may not have called her. When a parent dies, especially one you are very close to (maybe he was maybe he wasn't) there is SO much on your mind there are people who you just forget to call. There are a million things you have to do... on top of dealing with your extreme grief. I had several of his friends giving me angry phone calls and emails for weeks even months after he'd passed because I did not inform them. SO, basically, cut the guy some slack, don't be such a bitch. Maybe you could have let him speak before verbally attacking him?

I agree with #33. After my sister's friend's mom died, she pretty much became a hermit, lol. She like, didn't talk to people at all really for a few months, then she started to, then she just became anti-social. One time when they were hanging out my sister said "Yo mama!" and felt so bad because she forgot her friend's mom just died. :{ F your (boy)friend's life.
