Today, a teenage girl with a selfie stick came into my workplace. She knocked down multiple displays while trying to take pictures, before leaving without making a purchase. I had to clean it all up. FML

Today, I spent an hour setting up a delicate display stand at work. Not five minutes later, a woman barged in with her little kid, who immediately went up to the display and tipped the whole thing over. When I called attention to the mother, she just scoffed, "Isn't this your job?" and left. FML

Today, my coworker, who is constantly singing "Baby Shark," wanted to take selfie for her Instagram account. She moved all the junk from her desk to mine, so her desk would look great in the picture. FML

Today, at my job working retail, I had just finished cleaning and straightening a whole aisle. This kid watched me do the whole thing. When I was done, he stuck his arm out, and ran it down the whole shelf, knocking everything off it. His mother just grabbed his hand and walked away. FML

Today, at work, I had a customer accuse me of taking the giftcard I had issued her for her return, after spending 15 minutes trying to fix her screwed up transaction. She began to yell, and follow me around the store. Security had to intervene and I had to be locked in an office until she left. FML

Today, a girl with her eyes glued to her phone bumped my arm going in the opposite direction on the sidewalk. She dropped her phone, chased me to the bus stop, and told everyone that I broke it. She threatened to call the police. FML

Today, I was down at Disney World. Me and my buddy decided to take our pictures in a photobooth. While in the tiny space, I thought it'd be funny to flash the camera. A women barged in as soon as I did so, screaming "You know there's an outside video feed, right!?" FML

Today, I had to clean up human poop that someone trailed through the store. Then, as I was cleaning up all the shelves at the end of the day, I saw that someone had changed their sanitary pad, took a new one out of the packed and used it, then left the used one on the shelf. FML

Today, while I selling merch at a festival, a volunteer lost her toenail. Not only did she immediately show me, but she then took a picture and showed everyone coming up to my station. I lost sales because she wouldn't leave. FML

Google "Selfie Stick", you'll get the picture quick enough... Personally, I cant see how you would hold the thing steady enough with the weight of your phone on the end to be able to take "decent" selfies. (do they actually exist?)

Who the **** just walks into a store with no intention to buy anything, then knocks shit over while taking a picture and just leaves like that without buying anything or cleaning it up? If your workplace has a security camera, be sure to look at it and if she comes back, kick that bitch out.

eh i dont find this too bad, cleaning up a couple of things that have fallen is a piece of cake and doesnt require much effort. though, witnessing the disastrous selfie queen would have scarred the mind

If you have cameras installed at your work then you should find some evidence of her breaking all that stuff and then either ban her or make her pay the next time she comes around or something. I think banning her would be a solid solution altogether.

It was replaced by "the customer is always right" and his big brother "the customer will complain to corporate/news agencies/take you to small claims court/do things that cost time and money for people more important than you"
