Today, I went out to meet a wonderful woman I'd chatted with online. I did have a few fears about if she was really just some guy trying to make a fool out of me. When I met her, she really was a girl, and was happy to see me. Problem: she was actually 13. I'm 34. FML

why do you people never learn? i hate coming on here and reading FML's about someone's "online girlfriend". you need to get off the computer and go meet someone in the real world. i mean, buying a plane ticket to meet some stranger you've never even talked to on the phone or seen a real picture of (the rule is to ask them to hold up an item or sign to prove they're not fake, as i recall from my days on lj when i was 13)? you really deserved this.
