Why don't you use the British NHS for an example then. Anyway, wouldn't it be worse if you were PAYING a doctor and he said/did that? Hmm
That's Canada's 'free' healthcare for ya.
I think it's a good time to buy a new dress.(;
That's actually pretty funny.
I could see this doctor telling someone with ED that they had a "hard" decision to make. lol
good pun atleast!
When they say long term they usually mean for months at a time. Most sleeping aids actually prevent you from going into REM sleep which in the end doesn't actually make you less tired it makes you even more tired. And prolonged use of sleeping aids that contain a drug called melatonin which is a natural sleeping aid your body will stop producing it all together and rely 100% on the drugs. It's like a guy that takes steroids and stops he will start to developed breasts because the body no longer produce testosterone. If you actually read the bottle it says (not for long term use) and the said thing is insomnia medication usually have quite a few dangerous side effects >.<

Oh he was just trying to be funny :) If you think about it, he has to visit tons of patients that expect him to be a miracle worker and if I was in that situation I would definitely make jokes to keep my sanity!
Maybe you'll wake up, and it was all just a dream!
