Today, after finally giving up on the search for my lost dog, I realized that my neighbors had found her and are convinced that she was a stray. They won't give her up and are now mad at me for trying to take my own dog back. FML

Today, my boyfriend finally let me take his dog on a walk, after two years of not trusting me to keep her safe. During the walk, a car drove by, causing her to run after it and pulling the leash out of my hand. Five hours later, and I still can't find her. FML

Today, I went to check if my neighbours were home to return their dog, having looked after her for a few days. I looked in the window and the place was empty. They'd moved house and stuck us with their dog. FML

Today, my neighbor's 4-year-old daughter came up to me and asked if she could have my dog. When I said no, she started crying so much that her mom came out 5 minutes later and demanded that I give her daughter the dog. FML

Today, I found my dog, who had been missing for over a month, at the local pound. Clearly it was my dog, she responded to her name and cried when she saw me. However, the woman there told me I could not simply take her, I had to follow through with all policies. I paid $250 to adopt my own dog. FML

People like that make me sick. You should have your dog wear its collar at all times, though. If it was wearing it, and they ignored that, bring out papers to prove it. Call your vet. Don't just let them take your best friend! :)

#45: WTF is your problem? Awww, that sucks ass fat. I love doggies, and if my mom let me get one & someone stole it I'd bitch them out till no end, kick their ass. But first get the cops involved, if you have proof it's your dog they can go to jail for theft. That is really ****** up of them, horrible neighbors you have. I hope you get your dog:)

Umm no collar? Or papers? U should at least get the police involved. I mean dogs aren't cheap. And. Plus a dog is like family so u shouldnt rest till u get ur doggy back..

Call the Police. They probably know it's your dog and just wanted a free housebroken pet. They're guilty of theft and the authorities should sort it out fairly quickly.
