YDI, reading is a key factor to tests
Well OP I've got a dig bick.
OP should have told us what the original question was and then told us what he/she thought the question was. lol

Another poor IB student battling with english exams I assume? Don't worry retake is still an option :)
I suggest reading the prompt as you write, it helps keep you on track.
Well, it sucks, but for important tests like this, you need to comb through the question(s) and think carefully. Also, if you had resources available to help you understand anything, you need to use those as well. I know the situations aren't quite the same, but I gave my students an end-of-course exam today and they knew they were allowed to ask for help in figuring out what the questions were asking. Only one of them did. Guess who got the best score?
