Today, after having loaned my girlfriend money after she claimed to be broke and unable to pay her rent and electricity bills, she went out, spent it all on a new purse and phone, and now refuses to pay me back. FML

... Someone I know had a friend buy her a brand new, 16 thousand dollar car, then promptly skipped town on the poor man, changed her number and sold the car for cold hard cash. And she brags about this regularly. So I told the town about how she's cheating on the father of her unborn baby (while he's in jail for drink driving and accidentally killing a woman) with a 16 year old boy who has a girlfriend.

I hope you dumped her, or at least made it clear that this is unacceptable and you won't stay unless she makes some effort to change. I'd probably just go with insta-dump though - if she can't see what's wrong then she's probably to dumb to save...
