You were never in a relationship, only you thought that. He may even have someone else. How exactly do you date someone for 2 years and never meet the parents at all? My girlfriend lives in Colombia and besides obviously visiting each other a few times(like a real relationship), We Skype daily and my parents see her and say hi to her. You deserve it for thinking that's was a relationship. Sorry :(

You should have followed him somehow to his parents house. Then when everybody was inside, you knock on the door and announce that you are ________'s girlfriend. He'd be screwed if he was seeing another woman.

This is exactly why you need to do life-changing things like this for yourself, not for a relationship that may not last, even if you think it's going great at the time. I moved far away for an ex also, but it was Maui so it was kind of worth it...even though we blew through my inheritance...guess it was my fault for being naive.
