Today, after months of being pestered to do so, I finally read the first Harry Potter book. I hated it. Upon hearing this, my girlfriend posted the fact on Facebook, where I immediately received tons of abuse and eventual shunning by my friends, family, and coworkers. My girlfriend just laughed. FML

I've never read the book and people don't dislike me for not wanting to take the time to read it.. I've heard it's good, but it doesn't mean it's good to everyone. I'm sorry so many people in your life are so fickle and mean that they would actually go so far as to stop talking to you over a freaking book.
