lol that has happened to me
very unprofessional
When they called to offer me the job I have now, no # showed up, it was 000-000-0000, so I didn't answer. Luckily, they know most people don't, and they left me a voicemail saying they're calling about job xxxx. But DUH you never ask a potential employer to call you back!!!
i wouldnt want you working for me if you cant even remember the place you applied for.. or even a simple adress in your head... or walk just walk inside?
i agree that it's somewhat rude and assuming to ask them to call you back - even if it's inconvenient for you, if you really, really wanted that job, you would find SOME way to write that number down, or at least ask to call -them- back. i hope you get the job though, good luck
Lmao even tough it's not funny at all (I'm job hunting too) omg WHY did you do that I would have tried to remeber or say I have to run in the house and grab a pen. It is luck they even decided to call u!!!!

Big mistake asking the employer to serve as your personal secretary. You should have offered to return the call to him and not asked him to make yet another call to you, this time on your timeframe. Don't expect to get the job.
call him back?
