Why don't you move out and stop mooching?
WHAT??? Kindly inform them that it is YOUR car and if they want to use it as a family car, they have to pay for it or at least pay for ALL the expenses. If you still live with them this is a code red alarm to get the hell out of there forever. Seriously, your parents are ****** up.
I guess it's just their subtle way of getting you to move out... :D
Good solution: "Hey, guess what? I'm moving out. By the way, good luck finding a new family car."
say no! lmao its ur car?
Here's what you do: Give them a key but file down a large portion of one side that way the key is useless. When they start to complain about it tell them "That's funny it worked the last time". Oh and don't let them know you have another key. Or you could just tell them to **** off and that if they want to drive a car than they shouldn't have sold their car.
that is the BEST idea ive heard. i was just going to say tell them to **** off because if you paid for iot they can go **** themselves. your car, your money, theyre walking. end of story.
i would tell them that you can't afford to put them on your insurance plan. So they need to either pay for insurance and they're part of gas or walk. I know from experience that sometimes you out mature you parents when you hit puberty and it sucks, but just babysit them for a few more years and then get the hell out!

If my parents did that to me I'd tell them they can either start contributing to gas and maintenance or they can start finding other ways to travel, like a bus, or a bike. They may be your parents but if you paid for that car with your own money, you should still have a say on who can and can't use it, and you shouldn't have to foot the car bills yourself if you aren't the only one using it.
Damn parents. You at least say SOMETHING... but sorry to say it probably won't work...
