Boo ******* hoo, some guy took his own hard earned money and paid for something they care about's health instead of listening to some dumb **** on the internet and giving it to charity. What about people who spend hundreds of thousands more to buy a bigger house, even though they don't really a house that big? Shouldn't they have given their money to charity? What about billionaires who spend their money on playboy bunny slaves? How many little African kids would you save if he gave all his money to charity? Face it you dumb *****, giving your money to charity is an option, stop making it seem like this guy was obligated to do it just because he spent money on his dog. You know what else people do? They spend loads of money buying food for their dogs! And pfft, we ALL know dogs don't need food! They should have spend that money on some poor kids in Africa with AIDS to let them live a few more days even though they're already on death row because no amount of money even in your stupid ******* idealistic bubble could save them all. Grow the **** up.

I know what it's like to really love your dog, but 15 grand is ABSOLUTELY irrational. You have a big heart for your dog and kudos for that, but $15,000!! RIIIIINGGG!!

I know this will sound wrong, but you really did deserve that for spending that much on a dog. Anyways, you were putting it through a lot of pain, and when you figured out it had cancer, you should've put it down. Then, the dog would've had a peaceful death. I really am sorry to all you animal lovers, but that is just too much money for a dog. You'd have to be incredibly rich to spend that much on a dog.

Dogs aren't just animals to a lot of people. They're members of the family. If your kid got cancer would you say "oh, well it's too expensive, we'll let him die?" No. In a lot of families and to a lot of people (especially those families/people who don't have children) a dog is just as important. OP: FYL to the extreme. I'm so sorry for your loss, and I can only hope that you'll make some great new memories with your next animal, if you chose to get one. Remember: all dogs go to heaven.

To be fair there is a lot more research in human cancer and we know how to cure it as painlessly as possible. We don't for a dog so it might be a lot more painful... :-/

If heaven truly exists animals WILL NOT be there. Have a nice day.

:'( I'm so sorry dude! May he R.I.P. I can only imagine how you feel. But remember he loves you for trying your best to help him. Only the best go & i'm sure that he was. God needed him... :'( My prayers r with you!

why the hell would you spend that much on a damn dog?! ydi.

Ah yes, enemas, urinary obstructions and kidney failure are so much more fun then dogs with their cancer. :)

Anyone saying that YDI needs to learn how to bond with animals. Animals may be lesser than humans but that doesn't mean just put a money cap on it. If your mother or sister or something needed an operation to survive, but you didn't have the money, would you send them to be killed anyway? Learn to love people!

LOL. I have two dogs and love them dearly, and as many times they wake me up at 3am barking, i will never get rid of them until they die. But, #1 I would never spend 15k on an animal I can replace. #2 It love people plenty.. PEOPLE!!!!! I have lost hope in the human race and will continue to assimilate.

I get that you love your dog, but its was already dying why would u spend that much instead of just spending like $100 to put him to sleep!
