Today, after spending hours wrapping the presents for Christmas, I came back into the room to find that my dog had lost his toy, knocked over all the presents, and was frantically ripping at everything to find it. FML

My fat cat just enjoys laying on all the presents and crushing anything fragile in the process.

YDI for confusing a canine enough to think it was a family member instead of a pet. A sane person would not let the dog near the presents because it is an animal and unpredictable.

That's why cupboards are great to put presents in until needed, maybe next time close one room off where the dog can't in :) good luck repacking everything OP ;)

That sucks but i hope he at least found his toy. To anyone who thinks dogs belong outside, **** you. I really hope that you do not or will not ever have a helpless animal depending on you to take care of him/her.

If that were the case there wouldn't be 78.2 million dogs as pets just in the United States. My dog feels the same way about you and I'm sure he's not the only one with that opinion.
