Today, as I was walking downstairs to get breakfast, I saw my parents had decided to have a quickie on the couch. I had to awkwardly stand out of sight on the stairs, too scared to go down, or even back up, because our stairs creak. FML

Hey everyone! I loved reading your comments. The good, the bad, and even the ugly. Let me just clear up that it was my moms birthday, so I came down early to wake her up with breakfast. I wasn't coming down to listen like a pervert. I am very glad my parents are still fond of each other but I experienced just a tad too much of this fondness. I know realize that I could of walked back up and try not to squeak on the stairs, but come on. I wasn't really thinking at that point, mostly freaking out! Thanks everyone and no I didn't have my camera to save the picture as blackmail ;)

Uhm, is this a sarcastic comment? Because I suppose this FML is not about his parents having sex at all but about the fact that they had sex on the family couch while their kid was home and the chance was quite high that he/she would see them doing it, which is incredibly disrespectful in my opinion.

#60 Um, no. They actually can't have sex when and wherever they want. For instance, in public or purposely in front of their child because that would be considered child abuse and both are illegal. (I know that's not the case, just using an example) And if you want to know why they shouldn't do it downstairs just reread this FML.

actually they can. it's their house, bought by the parents makes it theirs. as for why they probably sexed downstairs are exampled in my last comment

It doesn't matter that they CAN have sex whenever and wherever they want. It's that they should have the common ******* decency not to do it when It's possible to scar someone for life. This FML is a prime example of why.

Married couples have the same rights as everyone else when it comes to expressing love, but doc does that mean if your sleeping over your children's house for a holiday when they're married you wouldn't get freaked out if you heard them having sex? I hear my parents constantly and sometimes I just wanna stomp on my floor (my room is above there's) and just tell then go shut up. They use to do it while my 11 year old sister slept in the room across from them. It got so bad we had to move her to the other end of the house because she couldn't sleep. See what I mean?
