Today, as part of the treatment for my bulimia, my doctor informed me that I will not be allowed to go to the bathroom unsupervised. Meaning there will have to be another person in the bathroom with me at all times. I have a nervous bladder. I couldn't go if I wanted to. FML

Awww! ): I'm so sorry. Maybe suggest a new treatment, since that won't work for you and benefit toward your health. The point is to get help with your eating disorder, not torment you.

anyone who said she deserves it or is stupid clearly doesn't realize that bulimia is a mental disorder. to those people, fyl for being ignorant.

I suppose you tried to explain this to him, but he didn't believe you. FYL

In a treatment center I was in, they let someone stand outside the door while we either counted aloud, sang, or talked to them. It isn't great, but it does provide a bit more privacy and preserves your dignity just a tad.

They do that to anyone who has an eating disorder. I had anorexia and they still supervised me, even when I showered. It sucked. I know how you feel.

I know how you feel. I ALWAYS have to use the cubicle, because I'm nervous to use the urinals.

I know exactly how you feel, eating disorders are the worst to have because all your freedom is automatically taken away :P Back when I lived in the hospital for anorexia, i couldn't take a shit without someone looking in at me, I also have a nervous bladder :P what makes it worse, on the week days a really cute nurse would be the one on bathroom duty >.<

youll get used to it...play with your phone or hum...it works and eventually your nervous bladder will be cured :D
