Today, at work, a woman demanded a refund for a video game. She had no receipt, so due to company policy, I couldn't refund her. She reacted by loudly accusing me of being racist, then yelled that she'd see me in court as she finally stormed out. FML

I hate customers like that. They think the louder they get the more likely it will go their way.

Customers who expect an exchange without a receipt are just idiotic. I see this situation on a regular basis where I work, where something will be half price one week and then the next week someone who "bought this stuff yesterday" come in looking for a full refund without a receipt to verify the dates

As someone with an awesome boss that has worked in retail a lot, my most common response to racist accusations is, "I'm not racist, I am biased against idiots." Boss thought it was hilarious the first time I said it and now I am stuck dealing with every pissed off customer in the store.

Ah retail. I knew there was a reason I left it.

You've gotta love snakes to be awesome. I picked up garden snakes when I was younger. Got bit a couple times, but they aren't poisonous. The "racist card" is new to me. How can you even prove racism without the person witnessing an identical situation that was then pardoned. And they would have to be different colors. Don't like to say race since all humans are the same race.

Why were you racist towards her? Haha only thing to do in those instances is laugh it off
