Today, at work, I noticed a spider on a female co-worker's shirt. I gently brushed it off. She accused me of sexual harassment. FML

the spider should be the one accused of sexual harassment

Nobody gives a damn if you're first. It makes you look like a jackass. To OP - For future incidences, DO NOT TOUCH WOMEN NO MATTER WHERE. They will usually consider it sexual harassment. Just point it out and let them deal with it.

That's just ridiculous. Maybe she had issues though? I'd understand if she felt uncomfortable being touched because of a past trauma, but getting someone else in trouble for brushing a spider off their shoulder is totally uncool.

You should have said that she had a spider on her shoulder.

Was it near her breasts? Think of it this way, if a guy saw a spider crawling near your crotch, would you have preferred him to tell you about it, or brush it off himself?

do not touch people without their permission, ANYWHERE, when in a professional setting. unless you live in Australia where there are more than 3 deadly species of spiders.
