see, you can take this 3 ways: 1) if its like my job, all my coworkers including my boss are all good friends, this is how all of us talk to eachother on regular basis, but of course not in front of customers. 2) imo, a boss is a coworker with power, so when the intern said it was coworker who had just left, he could have meant the boss, who may have just left. and 3) he was having a bad day, a coworker possibly annoyed him, and figured it was him on the phone to complaine about somthing else. ppl need to look at all the possibilities before assuming that he should be fired or not talk like that at work.

I imagine that if you are willing to pick up a phone like that then your work place is comfortable with that kind of stuff, if not, you are an idiot
