That takes effort still, a lot of guys wouldn't even bother at all, and i find it suspicious that you "found these by accident". Be happy with what you have, instead of viewing this as a bad thing.

By chance! Really!?!? You know you went looking for it. At least he was making an effort to be romantic. And just because he got them from somewhere else doesn't mean that he didn't mean what he was telling you. Some people just don't like to be happy.
