I don't see what the problem is here. It's the thought that counts. Maybe he just couldn't find the right words to express himself, so he turned to the website for help At least you have on SO. 17/17 years single and I would not complain about a romantic text.

How do you fall in love with someone through a text? Shouldn't you be more concerned about his personality and how he treats you in real life situations? I'm sorry, but I don't see how this is a big deal. First of all it seems sweet to send romantic texts in the first place and second why would you base your love for him on some texts? Love should be about how he cares about you and his compassion for you. Not whether he can write romantic texts.

I'm going with this guy's opinion. While small romantic gestures add seasoning to a relationship, the substance of it should come from the way you treat one another as a whole and the personalities involved.
