Today, Dell's tech support called to tell me that the laptop I sent to them was going to cost an extra $300 to fix, because of the shattered screen. When I mailed my laptop to them, the touchpad wasn't working. The screen was fine. FML

So many things wrong with Dell. I think I'll add this to my list of reasons.

Behold. Dickheads Enjoying Losing Lbuisness. That is truly what DELL is. They want me to replace my 11year old motherboard because my 11 year old hard drives are fries

:O They must've man-handled your computer pretty badly for the screen to have cracked! I've dropped my computer from a height of about four feet (on accident) quite a few times and it has never even gotten close to having a shattered screen.

Doubt it was the shipping, Dell probably smashed the screen to get more money

my touchpad wasn't working and the guy that did mine told me to hit F11. lol.

That's why we offer insurance with every package we ship at the USPS. Most people think, "It's already broken". Six bucks would have saved you 300.

Their fault, yours or the mail, you shouldn't have to pay $300. Get your own screen online and replace it yourself. I've replaced two laptop screens. One was $120 with shipping and handling, the other was $90 with shipping and handling. Changing them out is simple. Tell them to **** themselves.

Always take a picture before you send it slob with proof that it is yours for example you holding the labtop
