Today, for April fools I decided to set off the smoke detectors in my friend's apartment while he was sleeping and saran wrap the outside of his bedroom doorway so he would smack into it. Instead, he jumped out the window and broke his leg. FML

Today, my friend thought it would be funny to dress in all black with a ski mask and use my spare key to break into my house as a joke. He though it was even funnier when I jumped out the window and broke my leg. FML

Today, a coworker and I pulled a April Fools' prank on our boss. She "borrowed" his keys and rolled down his window. I took a car window from a scrap yard and sprinkled it on the ground near his door. His response was to kick the nearest object in anger. The nearest object happened to be my car. FML

Today, I ran into the living room when I heard the smoke alarm going off. Turns out, my friend thought it was a good idea to melt a plastic cup on my floor heater. He also thought the best way to put it out was to urinate on it. My house smells like burnt pee. FML

Today, my roommate played a "prank" on me. He taped a length of clear cellophane at ankle-height just outside my bedroom door, causing me to trip and faceplant the floor, and busting out a tooth. I now look like a hick, and my roommate is refusing to cover my dental bills. FML

Totally your fault. Yes, smoke alarms go off for many reasons. Usually though, the person is awake and had something to do with it. This guy is asleep and the ******* smoke alarm goes off. Maybe it wasn't the best thing to do, but it doesn't make him an idiot. Better to have a broken leg than die in a fire. And what was the point? To have him fall down? I hate April Fool's.

both of you deserve it. you're stupid for doing this--april fool's is supposed to be light hearted, not make someone think their house is burning down and laugh about it later. uh, no. not funny. even if he hadn't broken his leg, this would still be an ass thing to do. and he's stupid for jumping out of the window without even thinking to see if he could get out the front door, assuming on his part the house was even on fire (obviously it wasn't)
