How about we put the most optimistic spin on this? Your boss is moving you closer and closer to the door, because he wants you to be the face of the company. Yeah, that's it, your face radiates professionalism and that's the first thing he wants customers and clients to see. Let's go with that! At least, you can delude yourself with this beautiful fantasy until your inevitable firing (sacking) occurs.
