Most teachers wont accept hand written essays. And the OP already has the essay written on the computer he isn't allowed on.

I have a teacher now that will only accept typed, times new roman font, size 12. She'll fail you if it's not all of those.

#35- It shouldn't even matter if the teacher accepts handwritten work or not. All first drafts should be handwritten. After, it should be edited, and then typed. Good writers never write their first draft on the computer because we read words differently and do not always catch errors when we don't have a hardcopy in front of us. OP: YDI for getting an F in English in the first place. Were you even trying? And a even bigger YDI for not handwriting it first. You wouldn't have gotten that good of a grade, anyway.

"Good writers?" Excuse me. Don't try to sound like you are an amazing writer. You aren't a writer until you are published. Until then you are someone who can spell and form nice sentences. Not all writers write everything by hand. There is no RIGHT way to WRITE. Sorry if I broke your bubble of cool, but I am published and I write on a computer and edit it on that hard copy. Every one is different. Stop sounding like a douche.

If you got published even misusing "your" (among other mistakes), then somewhere, someone screwed up. Don't put down people for their writing when you yourself can't even comment properly. For the record, I agreed with your points until you got on the "I'm awesome because I'm published and you're not!" wagon. Way to ruin a good point by being a stuck up ass.

most teachers won't accept hand written anymore. Almost everything has to be in MLA or APA these days. Although, I thoroughly agree with starting over somewhere else if possible. If not, the definitely FYL.
