Today, I announced to my family that I will be trying out for the next season of America's Best Dance Crew. They responded by laughing hysterically and my mother said "You guys suck, good luck making it past auditions". FML

At least they're being honest. I feel so sorry for all those casting show-victims, because I always feel like they just don't have friends or so to save them from making themselves a joke in front of just everyone

well if they don't have any friends at least not too many people are going to make fun of them lol... and it's not like every single person in watches it or shows like that... but then again we need people without talent so we all can have a good laugh

Good luck, but if your family are laughing at this, there is probably a reason. Everyone sees the bad singer or the bad dancer on those shows and their parents all think they are superstars OR don't have the heart to tell their kid otherwise. Better to be laughed at by your family then the whole country. I would re-consider your audition.
